October Movies

Working on the Lone Wolf series this month. Still one or two left.

The Lone Wolf Keeps a Date (1941) 10/6 IMDb
Not bad! Nice plot. Cute girl. A few Perry Mason people for fun.

Counter-Espionage (1942) 10/20 IMDb
Lone Wolf undercover. Pretty routine. Hillary Brooke.

Passport to Suez (1943) 10/21 IMDb
Lone Wolf again. More spies. Ann Savage! Several Perry People.

The Notorious Lone Wolf (1946) 10/26 IMDb
Gerald Mohr takes over the role. Quite different style. Not so good.

The Lone Wolf in London (1947) 10/27 IMDb
Gerald Mohr. Complicated, slow, better than last one. Alfred the Butler from TV's Batman.

The Lone Wolf and His Lady (1949) 10/28 IMDb
Ron Randell (who?) as the Wolf. Totally different! PM's June Vincent in a big role.

Leopard on the Mac Pro

I upgraded to Leopard on my Mac Pro tonight. It was scary, but it went pretty well.

There are no major problems so far. There was a flock of small problems however. Here's the rundown so far:

That's all I can remember. There may be more. When I quit tonight, Time Machine was busy backing up HD1 to the G-Drive. We'll see how it did this afternoon. I'm still using SuperDuper to make a bootable backup on HD2.

Oh, by the way. The ugly dock loses its 3D appearance and reflections when put at the side of the screen where I have it. It looks like the Stacks feature does only Grid mode from there. A good thing. Cover Flow is really nice for pictures. Not sure about Quick Look. Text is kind of small in it. I like the general look of everything. The transparency features are kind of silly tho. I need to find a cool wallpaper now.
